About Victor
Victor is a member of CPA Australia accredited SMSF Specialist. Since graduating from Curtin University with major in Accounting and Information Systems, he has been working in both public practice and multinational financial institution specialising in self-managed superannuation fund industry for over 10 years.
During his professional career, Victor manages funds with various sizes and complexity to the tune of over 20 million dollars’ worth. He is also involved in various self-managed superannuation fund related projects ranging from building up procedures, system development and testing as well as transition and migration.
Victor joined Insight Perth in July 2017 as an SMSF Client Service Manager. He manages the administration of clients’ funds and ensures that these funds comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Born in Indonesia and completed his higher education in Australia, Victor is proficient in both languages.
In his spare times he enjoys exercising and keeping healthy.
He is also passionate with architecture, automobiles, and travelling to experience different cultures and appreciating their histories.

When can I access my superannuation balance from an SMSF?
There are several Condition of Release that can be satisfied for a member of an SMSF to access his/her balance. However the most common conditions are listed below:
– Reaching age 65
– Aged between Preservation Age and 64, and retired
– Aged between Preservation Age and 64, and not retired. A member can access only up to 10% of total balance. This is called as Transition-to-retirement.
Can a self-managed superannuation fund purchase property from a related party?
An SMSF is prohibited to purchase residential property from a related party. In contrary, it is allowed to purchase business real property from a related entity at market value.
