Aquib Chowdhury

Originally from Bangladesh, Aquib migrated to Australia in 2010 and started his undergraduate degree at Curtin University. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business, with a major in professional accounting in 2013 from Curtin University, Aquib started his professional career with Nexia Perth in 2014 as a graduate.

While at Nexia Perth, he developed a range of skills and gained the relevant experience to advance to the role of senior accountant and completed his Chartered Accountant (CA) program at this time. In 2018, he accepted an opportunity to join RSM to fulfil an advisory role and further develop his skills in this area. Over the next 2 years with RSM, Aquib developed relationships with clients and provided advice on various levels.

In July 2020, he joined Insight Advisory Group in the role of manager. He assists clients in every possible way including supporting them in their business journeys and providing the assistance required to help them achieve their goals.

Aquib has a high level of skills in strategic planning, financial diagnosis, tax accounting, analysing financial data, KPI and forecast reporting, and dealing with complex situations. He has a strong belief that every situation has a reasonable solution.

Outside of his professional life, Aquib is passionate about giving back to the community. He volunteers with local non-profit organisations, offering his financial expertise to help them manage their resources more effectively. This commitment to service reflects his dedication to making a positive impact both in his professional and personal life.
