About Jigme
Jigme brings a diverse professional background spanning media, community engagement, administration, and aged care services. From 2009 to 2016, Jigme worked with the Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy, progressing from Admin Officer to Program Officer and later Program Manager, where she played a pivotal role in coordinating programs that fostered civic engagement and media literacy. After moving to Australia in 2016 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (International) at Edith Cowan University, she took on various roles to support himself while completing his studies.
In 2020, Jigme transitioned into the aged care sector, holding positions such as Carer, Rostering Officer, HR Administrator, and Receptionist, gaining hands-on experience in both frontline and administrative capacities. Most recently, from 2023 to 2025, she has been working as a Set-Up Administrator at North West Alliance, where she supports operational readiness and organisational processes. His professional journey reflects adaptability, cross-cultural experience, and a commitment to making a meaningful contribution in every role she undertakes.
Born and educated in Bhutan through Year 12, Jigme later completed his Bachelor of Commerce at Symbiosis International College in Pune, India, before earning his MBA (International) from ECU in Perth. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching historical dramas, exploring nature through walks and hikes, and spending quality time with his family.
