Vandu Kembhavi

Vandu is from Mumbai, India, and worked with the Mumbai Municipal Corporation for 15 years as an administrator before migrating to Australia in 2008.

After moving to Australia, she started her career in financial planning. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, she has developed extensive knowledge of financial planning strategies and has outstanding skills in financial planning software, XPLAN.

Vandu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, a Diploma in Financial Planning, and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. Her educational background has provided her with a strong foundation in both analytical and practical aspects of financial planning.

She worked as a Financial Adviser from 2016 to 2017 and transitioned to a paraplanner role in 2018. Throughout her career, Vandu has worked with different licensees, acquiring extensive knowledge in financial planning, superannuation, insurance, and investments.

In January 2023, Vandu joined Insight Advisory as a Client Manager/Paraplanner. In this role, she collaborates with Scott Harvey in Financial Planning to help clients achieve their financial goals and objectives. Her dedication to client success and her ability to provide tailored financial advice make her a valuable asset to the team.

In her spare time, she authors short stories and novels in her native language, Marathi. She is also a trained Indian classical singer and enjoys performing in concerts. Her creative pursuits and musical talents add a unique dimension to her professional expertise, reflecting her well-rounded personality and diverse interests.
